I took two days off from writing. Didn't really plan on doing that, but I think my brain needed the same rest my body did after dealing with the cold from hell. I extremely hate the fact I must spend at least half of my day off shopping for gifts. But, I suppose that is what I get for waiting till the last minute, yes?

Nature's adding insult to injury in the form of rain though. I hate shopping in the rain even more. *sigh*

I should be trying to get as many words written right now as I can because this week looks like a worse one than last week at work.

But, I'd rather go vegetate on the bed and read something.

For the past two days I've had a tune stuck in my head: It's my life by Bon Jovi. Normally, this would not bug me...but my brain has changed the beginning of the chorus from "it's my life" to "I hate my life". Again, not a bad thing except that's where it stops. So tired.

Debating dropping out of the Fast Draft thing -- frankly, with work running 10 hours a day for the next few days I'm just not going to have the time or energy.

*sigh*

Add in the fact that I think I've caught a cold and...yeah, I probably won't be around much until Tuesday or so.

Just left about 10 yahoo groups where I was lurking (aka, ones I joined thinking I might find something interesting in them and then started deleting the digests sight unseen within a week or so) on. Then, turned around and joined a new one. *sigh ( Read more... )
